WHEW!

I'm ridiculously close to being DONE with school. I have my demo reel, yes that same one I promised three weeks ago. It's live on my website, please check it out.

I'm wrapping up a documentary project this weekend that I am EXTREMELY pleased with, even at it's current rough state. I cannot wait to polish it and show it off to everyone. Basically, my friend Phil and I set up a bunch of buckets at Pershing Square in hopes to start up an urban drum circle and what came out of the day was simply amazing. Stick around for that, I'll be less busy in about  3 days - and I'll throw my documentary on here or on my website.

Stay Tuned!

SORRY!

It's been a while without an update...here's what you need to know:

- Minus the Bear was great last weekend.
- "No shave November" is the reason why I look like a straight up beaner.
- It's starting to get cold, and I don't like it!
- My reel is so damn close to being done, and I am super psyched on how it's turned out. I will post it up here the second it's wrapped up - which should be later this week.
- I turn 21 in less than 2 weeks.
- I finish college in less than 4 weeks.
- I have roughly one month to do two months worth of work.
- Zack and Miri has a 3 second shot in the film involving a fecal explosion that left me laughing hysterically in the theater for well over 2 minutes. Go watch that movie, and appreciate that moment.
-  I listened to Thom Yorke's "The Eraser" for the first time this week, and it is quite good...and I'm sorta pissed that I hadn't discovered it earlier. Listen to that.

...I'll leave you with this mini skate session bit I edited a few weeks back:

Yes, that is me... immaculately landing a fakie bigspin flip manual. Ain't no thing buttuh chicken wing.

I told you I'd never update this...

Like I predicted in my first blog post over two months ago, I probably won't be updating this thing...'til today and from here on out. Once again - I'm going to tell myself that I'll update this frequently...when chances are I won't.

I have been tremendously busy wrapping up my last quarter at Mt Sierra College. I'm working way too hard on going out with a BANG and having a flawless portfolio / website / business card / etc by the time I leave. I'll keep this posted with those work in progresses - I've been busting my ass on a website / identity design all day and I feel like I've finally struck gold on a design after an entire days of screwing around in photoshop. Just wait about a month or so 'til it's up and running - I swear it will be worth the wait.

Aside from being burried in work - this week has been awesome so far. I shot Jack's Mannequin on Monday at the Troubadour and watched Against Me! cause a ruckus at The Wiltern on Tuesday. My priceless fake ID got taken after one of the bartenders at the Wiltern came to the realization that I'm not white. I'm not too bitter about losing the ID since I turn 21 in just over a month - but boy did that ID work wonders....and how? It will be missed dearly.

I'll continue to update with screen caps of my work and what not.

This week I recommend  you watch Body of Lies, find a large group of people to chant Against Me's! song "We Laugh at Danger and Break All The Rules," and do you're damn research on what you're going to be voting for next week.

Typical 1st Blog.

I didn't think I'd actually get into making one of these. I probably won't update it very often it, even though I'd like to. After going on tour in April I realized just how important it is to keep an account of what you experience, and hopefully I can make better attempt at doing just that with this. Aside from accounting little bits of my life on here I'll be posting some projects I'm working on...as well as some music recommendations.

Enjoy!
